The Faculty Honors Committee of the Faculty Senate has selected Craig Forest as the winner of two Faculty Honors awards this year.

The 1940 Roane Beard Outstanding Teacher Award for his teaching excellence which includes teaching his extraordinary efforts in teaching, inspiration transmitted to students, direct impact and involvement with students, intellectual integrity and scholarship, and impact on post graduate success of students.

Forest also received the Class of 1934 Outstanding Innovative Use of Education Technology award, recognizing him for developing and instituting innovative techniques to improve the learning environment and the learning process.

Congratulations to Dr. Forest for winning two hard-earned and well-deserved awards.
