Georgia Tech’s George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering is considering applicants for tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor.  Applications will be entertained in bioengineering to complement the existing team of faculty within the School working in the areas of cardiovascular and orthopedic biomechanics, bio functional materials, cellular engineering, regenerative medicine, bio heat/mass transfer, bio manufacturing, and tissue engineering.  Candidates would be expected to take advantage of the unique interdisciplinary research environment provided by the Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience and the Georgia Tech/Emory Center for the Engineering of Living Tissues. A Ph.D. or equivalent qualification is required. Industrial experience is desirable, but not required. The position will require a balance of undergraduate teaching, graduate teaching, and research.
